The Pen is mightier than the sword ....
I heard that a lot as a child ? I remember my Grandma telling me when I was just maybe 8 or 9 years old steaming mad .
" If you are angry at someone write them a letter and tell them Exactly what you think ... then Read it and tear it up.
Rewrite it , then read it again . If you still feel like giving it, okay." The second version always turned out calmer or not worth writing at all ! I do remember having to write a third version one time before I could calm down enough but Can't remember what made me that angry?
She also was the Queen of passive Resistance . She called it ,
" killing 'em with kindness."
She had a way of making someone embarrassed that they acted the way they did without ever saying a soar word or raising her voice.
The first time I remember Racialism is watching the local news and seeing my Grandma crying seeing a cross burning in a yard in a nearby town...I thought at first it was because someone would Actually burn a cross even at a mere 4or 5 I knew that symbol was important to her . But then I still remember her saying "those Poor poor People" what do you mean Grandma? Then she went on to try to explain the terrible truth to a little child , "that a black family tried to move in to an area and mean people were trying to make them leave ... "
As I got older I realized that she was a great hero for me .That she was always fighting for the underdog and saw people for "Who they were not What " as she said.
I started writing poetry as a way to express my thoughts from that little lesson from my Grandma and from that I wrote my thoughts down most of my life good , bad happy and sad .Now I blog .
So I dedicate this Blog to my Grandmother Luizia George born 3-27-1907 and went to heaven on 9-25-1972 . I never met my grandfather he died in 1958.
now this is a trip I was looking for pictures about "The pen mightier than the sword" ? Then I found this Smart Pen . That should help a Blogger to get on top of things ! That is if the blogger is more tech savvy than me !

This is great except for one thing, you had to use the picture where I had my thumb in my mouth.LOL That was one of my bad habits till I was ?????
