#53 /100 Reasons I Blog4Peace /Tolerance NOT Racism 2

okay I still haven't gotten to my own personal reasons of learning Tolerance from racism and prejudice ways. It brings up to much anger and I don't have time for that negative energy right now . So I will just keep it in draft and keep writing and sharing post of others and their fight for peace .
How can we hold our heads up with pride of being a free country and not give the Same freedom to all?

This statement below is from a story I read at the link below. Please go read it all .

Commentary: 9/11 first day on a new calendar for Muslim activist

Sept. 11, 2001, became the first day of a new calendar: two wars, the passage of the Patriot Act, new terror threats followed by Homeland Security alerts, rampant profiling, and FBI counterterrorism investigations. The result: American Muslims viewed as a suspect community -- their constitutional rights violated with impunity.

As some labeled Islam an evil and wicked religion, others stood shoulder to shoulder with their Muslim neighbors against such bigotry.
Still, Muslims cannot afford to retreat into their shells, as we now see an onslaught from Islamophobic bloggers, our constitutional rights challenged more as some politicians use wedge issues like the myth of "creeping sharia" in this election year.
I advise the next generation of Muslim Americans to continue to work for a better America and a peaceful world, shunning radical influences in the face of serious challenges. It's a task no minority can accomplish alone, so we must seek the cooperation and goodwill of all Americans.

Patriot Act Used for Drugs, not Terrorism

The Patriot Act authorized ‘sneak and peek’ search warrants — where you, the suspect, don’t have to be notified of the search until after the fact. Perhaps yours.
A similar complex is being built near San Antonio. By 2015, according to journalist James Bamford, the NSA will store data equivalent to 1 septillion printed pages. That’s a 1 followed by 24 zeroes.
“Somewhere between Sept. 11 and today,” wrote Bamford last week, “the enemy morphed from a handful of terrorists to the American population at large, leaving us nowhere to run and no place to hide…”
